The effectiveness of the Delphi program can be seen in the results obtained with students. Our Middle School students take the California Achievement Tests (CAT) annually, regularly scoring at least one grade level ahead of age and quite often two and three grade levels ahead. But the results that mean the most to us can be found in the attitudes and behavior of our students, as well as in the enthusiasm and support from our parents. We invite you to find out for yourself what our students and their parents say they have gained from the Middle School program.

On completing a course of study...

Course Title: Story of Mankind, I
"What would have happened if iron smelting was never discovered? Wouldn't life be different? We wouldn't have many of the luxuries we're accustomed to. I learned lots about this and other indispensable benchmarks in this course."
Shruti, Form 5 (7th & 8th grade)

On graduation...

I've learned a lot in all my years here and I'm going to keep my knowledge with me when I attend four years of high school. Because my favorite subjects in life are writing and art, I am going to focus on those things, and hopefully, be able to publish an excellent book for both children and adults to enjoy...I will miss my friends; people I've come to know and share a companionship with...As we each take our own path, we shall hope for success; not only for ourselves, but for the next generations to come.
Annette, Form 5 (7th & 8th grade)

After graduating Form 4 (equivalent to completing 6th grade)...

This school year I had a lot of fun. I also learned a lot. This year I graduated! In Form 4 the courses I enjoyed the most were the Histories. I loved learning about what it was like a long time ago. I had the most fun at the Science Day, Great America field trip. I liked doing the Egg Drop contest and going on the rides. I had a ton of fun. Thank you mom and dad for sending me to Delphi this year.
Isabella, Form 5 (7th & 8th grade)

My favorite thing that happened to me this year was graduating up to Form 5. It was the most exciting and fun. I loved being in Form 4 and now I can move on. My experience at Delphi was wonderful. I have known the Delphi curriculum all my life and love it....The field trips that we went on this year were a lot of fun. We went to the opera, ballet, Seymour Marine Center and Science Day at Great America. I was very excited to start Level 7 (7th grade) math and finish the rest of my courses. My favorite was probably Grammar and Communication. I learned a lot and had fun. Thanks, Mom, for sending me to Delphi and thanks Grandma and Grandpa for driving me and letting me stay with you!
Shaela, Form 5 (7th & 8th grade)

At the end of the school year...

It was a great first year at Delphi. In the beginning of the year, I was the worst at Math Facts. But over the year, I got better and better and now I'm really ahead on Math Facts. Another subject I got better at was math. I started out in Level 5 (5th grade math) and now I'm in Level 7 (7th grade math). As you can see, Delphi has really improved me. I really want to thank my parents for sending me to Delphi.
Nirali, Form 4 (half of 5th & all of 6th grade)

I had fun this year in Delphi. I learned a lot of useful information this year. The things I liked this year were math, history, debate, reading, writing, spelling and trade routes. I really enjoyed math because I just went through so easily. I am glad I finished so many math chapters this year. My favorite field trips were the State Capital and the fun learning in Great America. I had so much fun this year. Thank you Mom and Dad for taking me to Delphi!
Manik, Form 4 (half of 5th & all of 6th grade)

I want to thank my parents for bringing me to Delphi! I enjoy the summer and fall. All of the courses in Form 4 are really fun! Some of my favorites are History courses, Learning How to Learn, Communication is Fun and Study Skills for Life. I also like the Thinking Book! I also enjoy reading because I used to be really behind but I think I'm catching up. When I went to Delphi in the summer it was fun on all of the trips, camping and horseback riding. Sports is really fun! I can't wait to start Delphi Academy next year to finish all of my courses to graduate and for more fun!!!
Majd, Form 4 (half of 5th & all of 6th grade)

Success Stories from Parents

Delphi is the best thing to happen to my daughter and me!!

I discovered the school in February 2000. My daughter was a little behind in her reading and math skills, but the staff rallied together to get her caught up. Now she is doing great! My daughter is often complimented for her intelligence and maturity. This is due in large part because of Delphi.

I recommend this school to anyone who wants a well-rounded program of academics and activities. Delphi is the best!
