The effectiveness of the Delphi program can be seen in the results obtained with
students. Our Lower School students take the California Achievement Tests (CAT)
annually, regularly scoring at least one grade level ahead of age and quite often
two and three grade levels ahead. But the results that mean the most to us can be
found in the attitudes and behavior of our students, as well as in the enthusiasm
and support from our parents. We invite you to find out for yourself what our students
and their parents say they have gained from the Lower School program.

Success Stories from Students
I liked reading, teachers, handwriting, math, friends and school playground.
Namit, Beginner 2 (1st grade)
I liked Form 2 because I had a great teacher and great friends and great helpers.
I've experienced the best time in my life!
Maia, Form 2 (3rd grade)
I am having such a fun time in Form 2! We had awesome field trips. Ms. Victoria
taught me a lot of things. My favorite subjects were courses, math facts, handwriting,
seminars and reading. ...I'm very proud of what I did this year. I finished Level
4 (4th grade) math. Next year I will be in Level 5 math. I finished many courses.
Actually, in May, I finished all my courses! I am very ahead on my program.
I saw some very cool things in the Diwali Festival. In the Chinese New Year parade,
the food was so good! I had a very fun time rehearsing and performing on stage.
We did a lot of performances. I learned a lot of personal things about different
presidents. I learned about the pioneers, colonists, pilgrims, inventors and English
men. I learned about correct grammar and correct spelling. We made some interesting
art projects and Mr. Troy dissected a computer and let us see all of the pieces.
We we had a Bike-a-thon, I biked 10 miles. When we had a Science Fair, I studied
about insects. I accomplished a lot of things this year.
Swati, Form 2 (3rd grade)
I like reading, math and courses. Form 2 was a lot of fun going on field trips and
I know one thing better than anything else—my teacher Ms. Victoria is fantastic
and I learned a lot with her being my teacher! I am going to graduate and I'm going
to miss Ms. Victoria and all the fun in Form 2. But I am ready for more knowledge
from Form 3 and the other classes higher than that...Ms. Victoria is a great teacher
in the world.
Samantha, Form 2 (3rd grade)
Success Stories from Parents
"In the last seven months since Casey began attending Delphi Academy, we have watched
her grow both academically and personally in a significant and positive way. Her
reading and handwriting have greatly improved from when she first started Delphi,
and we can tell that she enjoys and takes pride in all of her academic accomplishments.
Although she sometimes needs to be reminded, Casey is very eager to work at home
on reading or math assignments, or any work that might bring her closer to completing
a target. She is motivated and seems to have a good grasp of what is expected of
her. We believe the Beginners Program at Delphi has contributed to Casey's self-confidence,
sense of security and happiness, as well as the academic success she is enjoying."
David and Donna, Parents
"Over the last year while she is in Delphi, Stacy has improved her communication
skills. She has an easier contact with others on the playground. If there are any
problems that occur, Stacy does not complain or cry, instead she tries to resolve
the problem confidently herself. She is strongly motivated in everything she is
doing. She loves to learn new things. She is patient and persistent, for example,
when she tries to do something new and it does not come out right, she would not
quit until she will be able to do it. In addition, Stacy is very independent-minded,
for example she will not necessary follow her peer's actions if she felt they are
wrong. Stacy is a very good child and Delphi makes her an even better person."
Vitaliya and Dmitriy, Parents
"Delphi isn't just educating our children, they are teaching and inspiring our children
to be the absolute best people that they can be. Delphi not only teaches our children
to study, inquire and challenge themselves, but Delphi also teaches them to respect
others, our environment and themselves. I cannot imagine a more positive, enriching
environment for a child to learn in. I am grateful everyday for the gift that my
children receive each day at Delphi."
